Last spring my friend invited me to spend Easter weekend with her and her family at their home in Folly Beach.
I brought four rolls of Portra 160 with me. Sadly I lost a roll at some point when we were walking on the beach one evening. Unfortunately it was the one with photos from the first two days there when we’d gone into Charleston. So the film that I have is from the beginning and the end of the trip.
It was a trip filled with sunshine, walking on the beach, biking to the beach, sipping iced coffee on the beach, watching the sunset on the beach. You get the idea…
As we were pulling out of the airport car rental garage, the attendant handed us two white napkin roses with burnt edges. I’m not sure how many people reserve rentals from the Jackson airport, but I don’t think it’s that many considering there’s one terminal with about four gates. So it seems that he needed to occupy himself while waiting for the few customers to check out.
