Two years ago, I spent several days in Edinburgh on a three week trip around western Europe. Sometimes when I end up searching for past projects and photos on my hard drives I get sidetracked like I did the other day…I thought I would share several photos that I edited from that trip.

I stayed in The Code hostel which was a great place to stay. Breakfast was included and there was a pretty nice discount for going in the off season (I was there in November). The city was absolutely stunning. I climbed Arthur’s Seat at sunset, which ended up being around 4:30pm because daylight savings plus being so far north. I took a bus to the Pentland hills to walk around and see the Highland Cattle. And visited the garden which was quite bare with the onset of winter weather. Even with the shorter days and chilling wind, the autumn is a great time to go – although you could go a couple weeks earlier at the end of October before Daylight Savings and possibly get warmer weather.
